Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Catering Manager to run our catering operations. The ideal candidate will possess a background in food preparation and cooking as well as team management. This role requires a passion for hospitality and the ability to work solely or as part of a team.
As the Catering Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the day to day catering shall run smoothly, from planning to execution.
Duties
* Oversee all aspects of catering operations, including food preparation and service.
* Manage and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food safety and hygiene.
* Train and mentor new staff when required.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
* Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
* Handle any customer feedback or complaints professionally to enhance client satisfaction.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a catering management role or similar position within the hospitality industry.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
* Previous catering experience is highly desirable.
* Barista experience is an advantage but not essential.
* Exceptional communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
