Offer description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Horsham for an Inside Sales Executive. The role involves managing the sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, building and maintaining customer relationships, and identifying opportunities to grow the business. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting potential customers, nurturing leads, providing exceptional customer service, and collaborating with internal teams to address client needs and goals. A proactive approach to meeting and exceeding sales targets is essential.


Qualifications

* Proven experience in Inside Sales and Lead Generation
* Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
* Demonstrated success in Sales and driving revenue growth
* Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships
* Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working in a team setting
* Proficiency with CRM software and sales tools
* Experience in the logistics or aerospace industry is a plus
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred


Key Responsibilities


Sales & Business Development

* Proactively identify cross-selling opportunities within existing customer base
* Promote fulfilment, storage, and value-added services to current logistics clients
* Sell global logistics services (air, road, sea)
* Sell fulfilment services
* Generate and qualify new leads through outbound activity (calls, email campaigns, CRM data)
* Maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities


Account Growth & Cross-Selling

* Work closely with operations to understand customer activity and identify gaps
* Introduce additional services aligned to customer needs
* Support onboarding of new services within existing accounts
* Drive increased revenue per customer through structured account development
* Act as a key point of contact for day-to-day commercial communication
* Conduct regular check-ins with customers to identify opportunities and feedback
* Ensure high levels of service and responsiveness


CRM & Reporting

* Maintain accurate records of all sales activity in CRM
* Provide weekly updates on activity and opportunities
* Work closely with operations, finance, and management to align commercial activity
* Support marketing initiatives and campaigns where required
* Share market feedback and customer insights with the wider team


Focus Areas

* Cross‑selling between fulfilment and freight divisions
* Increasing customer lifetime value
* Supporting steady, organic growth (aligned with HSM’s strategy)
* Building a structured inside sales function


Experience & Skills

* Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or fulfilment preferred
* Previous inside sales, account management, or telesales experience
* Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
* Commercially aware with ability to identify opportunities
* Organised, self‑motivated, and able to work independently
