What skills and experience we're looking for

• Hybrid role (up to 2 days on-site) based either at One Sixth Form, Ipswich or Abbeygate Sixth Form, Bury St Edmunds
• 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year - Permanent
• Salary: £25,185 - £25,989 per annum (Dependent on qualifications and experience)

We are looking for a proactive and organised HR Administrator to support the smooth running of our Recruitment and Transactional operations. Acting as a first point of contact for staff and prospective employees, you will assist the recruitment team by coordinating interviews, managing candidate communication and supporting the onboarding process. You will also carry out key administrative duties including processing pre-employment checks, issuing contracts, maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring compliance with HR processes.

This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment. You will work closely with the HR team, managers and wider departments to provide efficient, customer-focused HR support across the employee lifecycle. Previous administrative experience is essential, and experience within an HR environment or working with HR systems would be advantageous.
