The Role
* Ensure all food is prepared and cooked to an exceptional standard, adhering to HACCP regulations.
* Ensure all food is prepped and ready for service.
* Ensure the team provides high‑level customer service consistently.
* Work with the team to deliver the service on time.
* Complete administration tasks, including ordering stock for the unit.
* Maintain bookwork procedures in line with company requirements.
* Report defective equipment, work, and floor surfaces.
* Carry out opening and closing of all food outlets according to company procedures.
* Manage the team to ensure all service areas are fully stocked and well presented.
* Complete end‑of‑month duties on the last day of the month.
The Person
* Previous experience in a fast‑paced catering/hospitality environment.
* Demonstrable knowledge of HACCP.
* Previous management/supervisory experience.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Previous experience in contract catering.
* NVQ Level 2–3 or City & Guilds 706/1–2 or above.
* Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to assist in understanding safety, work instructions, and communicating with customers on a day‑to‑day basis.
