Lead a Kitchen That Makes a Difference Our client is seeking an experienced, passionate, and hands-on Catering Manager to oversee the catering operation within a welcoming school environment in East London & Essex
This is an excellent opportunity for somebody who takes pride in delivering fresh, nutritious, and high-quality meals whilst leading a small and supportive kitchen team. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating a positive dining experience for students and staff while maintaining the highest standards across the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities Managing the day-to-day running of the kitchen
Preparing and serving fresh, nutritious meals for students and staff
Leading, supporting, and motivating the catering team
Managing stock ordering, deliveries, and minimising waste effectively
Maintaining excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards
Ensuring all dietary and allergen requirements are met
Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment
Delivering a consistently high standard of food and service
What Our Client Is Looking For Previous experience as a Catering Manager
Strong knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen compliance
Excellent organisational and leadership skills
Reliable, professional, and hardworking attitude
Ability to work efficiently within a busy kitchen environment
Passion for delivering high-quality food and service
School Chef experience desirable but not essential
