COOK Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Part-Time Cook to join our clients team in Belfast. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about preparing high-quality meals and enjoys working in a dynamic kitchen environment. The position requires availability on Thursdays and Fridays from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with additional holiday cover as needed. Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining quality and presentation. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations. Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or needs to the appropriate team members. Assist in menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Provide holiday cover as required, ensuring continuity of service. Qualifications Proven experience as a cook or in a similar role within a professional kitchen. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Flexibility to provide holiday cover when needed. Day-to-Day Begin the day by preparing ingredients and setting up the kitchen for service. Cook and plate meals to meet customer expectations. Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the shift. Monitor food stock and report any shortages. Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless workflow.
