Leading Investment Bank - Axiom Developer - Finance Technology
We’re hiring an Axiom Developer to join a Greenfield, next‑generation Regulatory Technology platform within a leading global investment bank. This role sits in the Finance Technology – Regulatory Reporting organisation, supporting and evolving the firm’s core Axiom‑based reporting infrastructure used globally.
You’ll work closely with international engineering teams, maintaining and enhancing Axiom infrastructure, driving release cycles, and improving platform reliability, automation, and standardisation.
This is a strong opportunity for engineers who enjoy hands‑on development, infrastructure engineering, and building scalable platforms in complex enterprise environments.
What You’ll Do
* Build and support a Greenfield, next‑generation Axiom infrastructure platform
* Implement Axiom vendor releases and security patches across global environments
* Drive and coordinate testing cycles with development and engineering teams
* Develop tools and automation to support infrastructure and regulatory processing
* Expand CI/CD, test‑driven delivery, and release automation practices
* Influence architecture, standardisation, and platform design decisions
* Support a mission‑critical regulatory reporting platform
Skills & Experience
* 2–5 years exp. required
* Database development experience (ideally Sybase)
* Experience with application infrastructure and system architecture
* Web‑based application design and implementation
* Experience working in large‑scale, enterprise environments
Nice to Have
* Axiom experience (training provided)
* Strong SQL and ETL knowledge
* Database performance analysis and tuning
