Primary purpose of the role:
OnBase Developer - DevOps role reports to the IT Service Delivery Manager.
This role provides post-sale support services to customers to coordinate and execute product/services implementation projects, including installation, troubleshooting, problem resolution, and maintenance of products and services.
The OnBase Developer - DevOps is primarily responsible for providing technical development and solution process improvements for enterprise clients.
The development includes communication channels, proactively identifying, communicating, and assisting clients in resolving known software issues, working with clients to license and configure software modules, and troubleshooting installation, configuration, and environmental issues.
This role will have fixed hours (9am-5:30pm UTC) with on-call support 24/7 on a rotation basis.
Your role in our mission:
* Develop Agile OnBase solutions related to document capture, storage, workflow, and other areas.
* Develop and support code to integrate with the OnBase API.
* Identify and implement solution improvements and health checks.
* Proficiency with OnBase Configuration, OnBase Client, Unity Client, Studio, Web Client, Hyland Unity Management Console, and Hyland API of EP3 and later.
* Lead testing and error identification to ensure specifications are met.
* Hands-on experience with MS SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL databases.
* Develop system requirements for data, workflows, processes, hardware, and interfaces.
* Guide project team members in development, testing, installation, and updates of software.
* Maintain accountability for technical components and collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure project success.
* Participate in Agile retrospectives to improve software and processes.
Functional Knowledge, Skills:
* Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field or equivalent experience.
* Strong experience with solution development and deployment.
* Experience with OnBase System software (version 18 or higher).
* Experience with .Net, databases, data center migration, and Kofax.
* Experience creating and modifying workflows and conducting solution health checks.
* Experience with on-premise solutions and software upgrades.
* OnBase certification (API, Workflow, Workview, Installer) required.
* Ability to analyze, diagnose, design, plan, and evaluate work within time, cost, and quality targets.
* Effective communication skills and ability to facilitate collaboration.
* Understanding of own responsibilities and customer requirements.
* Proactive in skill development and industry awareness.
* Ability to analyze requirements and advise on operational improvements and innovative solutions.
