The role
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to start or is in their early career within HR and looking to learn and develop their skills.
The ideal candidate will have abasic understanding of Human Resources as well as general administrative responsibilities. They will be able to work collaboratively and efficiently to ensure completion of administration is completed and support the wider department on HR projects and operations.
What you will be doing?
Redirect HR related calls, emails or distribute correspondence to the appropriate person of the team
Support the recruitment/hiring process
Maintain records of personnel-related data (probation reviews, payroll, personal information, leavers, turnover rates etc.) in both paper and the database and ensure all employment requirements are met
Create engaging content for employees
Assist with basic level investigations, disciplinary and grievances
Assist with career fairs/placements
Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events etc. and help maintain the teams agenda
Coordinate trainingsessions and seminars
Perform inductions, onboarding, and update records with new hires
Manage and coordinate occupational health diary/appointments
Manage the long service awards for the Lincoln site
Run reports and update KPI tracker
Attend and manage Lincoln Central Employee Forum on a monthly basis
Support in ad-hoc HR projects
Weekly agency costing
Coordinate assessment centres and English lessons
Support HR Advisor with monthly turnover figures
What we want from you?
Experience in using MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
Familiarity withsocial media
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle data with confidentiality
Good organisational and time management skills
Potentially willing to work towards level 3 CIPD apprenticeship
You will be proactive and keen to learn
Can do attitude
