Essential Role Requirements: Able to read drawings and relevant documentation External Works/Kerbs/Edgings/slabs/block paving Manage ground water, setting up correct size pump for the job in hand Ensuring backfilling to trenches is correct Benching of all manholes Experienced working around live services, and in service avoidance techniques Have a detailed knowledge of the correct use of materials and products relating to underground drainage, road make up and formation, kerbing, slab laying, block paving and external works (hard and soft landscaping) Able to competently carry out daily pre-start plant safety inspections and maintenance checks, and communicate service requirements in good time to the site management team Desirable: Additional CPCS/NPORS * tickets and experienced in operating any of the following: Telehandlers, Dumpers and Rollers 5-10 Years experience in skilled groundworks Experienced working gangs/teams highly sought after with this role General Expectations: Reliable & punctual Able to work well with other trades and operatives on site and support the programme delivery on time.
