We are looking for a Delegate Sales Executive to play a leading role in developing our event portfolios. You will work with internal and external stakeholders, primarily collaborating with our Conference and Awards Delegates’ Manager on delegate acquisition for conferences and table sales at award ceremonies.
Responsibilities
* Develop a deep understanding of our annual events portfolio and the delegate value propositions for each event.
* Work closely with marketing to drive awareness, identify the ideal customer profile (ICP) for each event, and provide feedback for lead refinement.
* Invite prospects to attend events and follow up on marketing leads via phone.
* Research and establish a new business pipeline to attend industry events.
* Communicate with C-level prospects and schedule calls with relevant contacts.
* Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects to attend multiple events.
* Achieve and exceed targets and KPIs.
* Coordinate with conference producers and editorial teams on content.
* Research missing contact details as needed and maintain an accurate prospect database.
* Provide feedback and report on pipeline status during weekly meetings.
* Attend industry functions as required.
Skills and Attributes
* Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging with senior prospects, including C-suite executives.
* Genuine interest in solving business issues.
* Resilient, focused, and results-oriented.
* Ability to work calmly under pressure.
* Hunger to reach and exceed targets.
Experience
* Up to 2 years of sales experience.
* Experience in the financial sector is preferred but not essential.
