Senior Frontend Developer – HTML5 – Oxford/Remote – Permanent
Predominantly remote working – this role will require 1-2 days / month on site in Oxford

Senior Frontend Developer required for a leading client based in Oxford. The candidate will be responsible for implementing and tuning high quality, optimised, maintainable code within a framework, ensuring the best user experience possible. A background in developing games and software for the casino industry is not mandatory, but would be beneficial in this instance. Strong experience using HTML5 is key for this position.
Key skills & responsibilities:
1. Extensive experience working with HTML5 and TypeScript
2. Strong experience working within a mobile and desktop environment
3. Experience using PixiJS, Phaser or other JavaScript frameworks, focused around gaming or animation
4. Knowledge of CSS, PostCSS and SASS/SCSS
5. Experience with CSS frameworks – Tailwind, Bootstrap and responsive design techniques
6. Background in mathematics, statistics and/or physics and 3D development is desirable
