Join to apply for the Developer – Marketing Technology & Automation role at Funding Circle UK.
Overview
We are seeking a proactive and curious developer to join our newly expanded Marketing Technology & Automation team. You will develop integrations and automated data pipelines between marketing platforms, internal business systems, and data products—unlocking new capabilities for the CRM Team and the wider Marketing department while modernising or replacing legacy processes.
Responsibilities
* Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines between marketing technology tools and both internal and external data sources.
* Own technical governance for engineered solutions: monitor health, mitigate risks, document processes, and support data reliability.
* Act as a technical expert and pair with product engineering leads to co‑work on solutions and steer design using your marketing domain expertise.
* Work closely with Marketing stakeholders to plan and deliver end‑to‑end operational processes.
* Migrate legacy data processes to modern, efficient solutions.
* Shape long‑term transformation across new marketing platforms and operating models.
* Proactively identify and mitigate any risks, issues, or control weaknesses.
Qualifications
* Experience with data integrations in front‑end and back‑end contexts; familiarity with authentication, pagination, retries, JSON parsing.
* Proficiency in Python (backend) and Javascript/React (frontend).
* Experience with event‑driven data architectures, Kafka, or other real‑time processes.
* Excellent stakeholder communication, comfortable collaborating with technical and non‑technical teams.
* Enthusiastic about multidisciplinary problem solving; enjoys evolving technologies.
* Strong commitment to continuous improvement and tech/data maturity.
* Familiarity with AWS (S3, Athena) or SQL is nice but not essential.
