About the Role
As an entry‑level Sales Executive at RetailEXPO, you play a pivotal role in driving business growth and building meaningful relationships with our customers. Your mission is to deeply understand their unique needs and challenges, and to deliver tailored solutions that provide exceptional value. Through a value‑based selling approach, you help customers achieve their business objectives by leveraging our world‑class events and market‑leading digital tools.
Responsibilities
* Managing client briefs, producing client proposals, and obtaining sign‑off.
* Supporting and educating sales teams in qualifying leads, ensuring high client retention and acquisition of new clients.
* Managing design and costings.
* Chasing and collating artwork or other client material needed for production.
* Ensuring sales, proposed services, and budget trackers are accurate.
* Ensuring purchase orders are raised and supplier invoices are reconciled to POs.
* Ensuring designs fulfill client briefs and producing written technical specifications.
* Developing effective, collaborative partnerships with external vendors and ensuring excellent supplier performance while working on‑site.
Requirements
* Demonstrate expertise in an exhibition sales or operational position.
* Be enthusiastic with an excellent attitude and a desire for learning and personal development.
* Have basic knowledge of supplier products (e.g., AV, IT, graphics, etc.).
* Be willing to travel to exhibitions worldwide.
* Be able to manage client briefs, produce client proposals, and obtain sign‑off.
* Have excellent communication skills in German and English, attention to detail, and multi‑tasking ability.
