Overview
A local authority based in London is seeking an Employment Lawyer for an initial period of three months.
Responsibilities
* Carry a caseload of both contentious and non-contentious matters.
* Advise on discrimination, equal pay, unfair dismissal, TUPE, employment contracts, redundancy, etc.
Requirements
* Lawyer (Solicitor, Barrister or FILEX) with a current practising certificate.
* Local government experience is highly advantageous.
* Available on no more than 2 weeks’ notice.
Contract & Hours
Pay rate: £24.58 or £32.50 LTD. 35 hours per week. Hybrid working role.
