The Employment Lawyer role:
\t
* Experienced Solicitor or CILEX/FILEX with 5+ years’ PQE
\t
* Strong experience of acting for employers on a wide range of matters
\t
* Develop a mixed caseload of transactional, non-contentious and contentious employment work
\t
* Provide strategic and clear advice
\t
* Exceptional client care skills
\t
* Strong technical legal knowledge in employment law
\t
* Develop and grow the employment law offering of the firm
\t
* Demonstrate strong business development and marketing skills
The Employment Lawyer role responsibilities:
\t
* Providing comprehensive HR advice and support to employer clients
\t
* Drafting service agreements, contracts of employment, staff handbooks and relevant policies
\t
* Working with clients on disciplinary procedures and internal investigations
\t
* Advising employer clients on employee terminations, redundancies and restructuring, preparing settlement agreements and a good working knowledge of the tax implications
\t
* Transactional corporate support work
\t
* Advising on TUPE matters in transactional work and assisting the corporate team in due diligence and related employment work
\t
* Advising on boardroom disputes
\t
* Providing client representation in employment tribunal and court in respect of a broad range of claims
\t
* Delivering training, seminars and legal updates
