Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team on a construction site in St Ives. This role involves assisting tradespeople, maintaining site cleanliness, and supporting day-to-day site operations. Ideal for someone physically fit and eager to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting skilled tradespeople on-site (e.g., carpenters, bricklayers, electricians)
* Loading and unloading materials and equipment
* Preparing and cleaning job sites
* Erecting and dismantling temporary structures such as scaffolding
* Following health and safety protocols
* Operating hand and power tools where appropriate
* General site clean-up and waste disposal
Requirements:
* Previous labouring or construction site experience preferred but not essential
* CSCS Card (preferred or required depending on site regulations)
* Ability to perform physical tasks and lift heavy objects
* Punctual, reliable, and a strong work ethic
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Own transport desirable (depending on site location)
Working Hours:
* Monday to Friday
* 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (typical hours; may vary by site)
* Overtime available depending on project deadlines
