This is a hands-on role focused on delivering good-quality food, supporting daily service, and maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant kitchen environment.You'll take ownership of food preparation and cooking during your shift, support service delivery, and provide guidance to a Catering Assistant when required.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook food in line with menu requirements and service standardsServe customers in a friendly, professional mannerSupervise and guide the Catering Assistant on shift to ensure smooth serviceComplete all required due diligence and food safety paperwork accuratelyMaintain high standards of cleanliness across the kitchen and back-of-house areasFollow all food hygiene, health & safety, and company compliance proceduresWhat We're Looking ForPrevious experience in a cook or similar kitchen roleGood knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene standardsConfidence working independently during service timesAbility to support and oversee a Catering Assistant when requiredA practical, organised approach and a strong team ethicFriendly and professional when interacting with customersPersonality behind every plateDine provides tailored food services to 140 clients in the business and industry sector.
