People like you.ABOUT THE ROLEAs a Junior Dynamics 365 & Power Platform Developer, you will support the development and maintenance of solutions on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform. The role offers hands-on experience in development, working closely with senior developers and technical leads to build skills and contribute to the organisation’s digital transformation programme.
You will have a technical background and some foundational experience of implementing solutions based on Power Platform or Dynamics 365. You will be motivated to develop your skills, try out new ideas, new technologies and new ways of working. You will be working “hands on”, with most of your time being directly involved with developing solutions. You will be prepared to ‘work in the open’ and show rather than tell and to take onboard coaching and guidance.WHAT WILL I BE DOING?No two days are the same at Young Lives vs Cancer. So, summarising your ‘day to day’ isn’t easy. Here are some of the main things you’ll be doing, but you’ll find more details in the job description.
1. Assist in the development and configuration of Dynamics 365 entities, workflows, and business rules.
2. Support the creation and maintenance of Power Apps and Power Automate flows.
3. Help troubleshoot and resolve basic issues in Dynamics 365 and Power Platform applications.
4. Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and contribute to technical solutions.
5. Document development work and contribute to testing and quality assurance processes.
WHAT WILL I NEED?Diverse perspectives and unique skillsets are at the heart of Young Lives vs Cancer. To succeed in this role, you will be able to demonstrate how you have:
6. Foundational experience of developing, supporting and maintaining solutions on Power Platform, Dynamics 365 or developing integrations utilising Power Automate Flows.
7. Experience of taking a proactive approach to developing skills and experience and taking onboard coaching
8. Foundational working knowledge of best practice data security andpliance best practices.
9. Strongmunication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
