Salary: £45,000 - 45,000 per year Requirements:
* We are looking for a UK-based, experienced WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience integrating WordPress, tuning and improving WordPress implementations
* Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, Sass (including Tailwind CSS and Bootstrap), PHP, and SQL
* Proficiency in ES6 JavaScript, including Node.js and React
* Custom WordPress theme and plugin development experience
* Knowledge of responsive/mobile web development and RESTful APIs
* Familiarity with version control, particularly Git
* Docker and containerization skills
* Strong communication abilities, including client-facing experience
* A capacity to work both independently and as part of a team
* Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
* Commercial awareness
Responsibilities:
* In this role, I will expect you to:
* Lead software support and development projects, as well as engage in research and testing as required
* Attend project meetings when requested by the Delivery Manager or Senior Developer
* Record time spent on each project in detail, on a day-by-day basis
* Stay updated on changes in relevant technology and systems to maintain current technical knowledge
* Build and maintain customer websites and digital services using WordPress, SQL, and PHP
* Support existing solutions and continually improve them through designated work packages
* Ensure the highest level of quality in your work, including design patterns, web security, technical documentation, and application performance
* Lead by example and assist less experienced team members
