Site Manager needed in Gatherley - up to £450 per day inside IR35 Freelance Site Manager Location: Gatherley Contract: Full-time (Inside IR35) About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Freelance Civils Site Manager to join our team in delivering civil construction works within the water sector. This exciting project includes the development of a new pumping station and pipeline. Key Responsibilities Oversee the safe and efficient execution of pipeline installation, substations, power and cabling, and pipeline testing, ensuring strict compliance with Health & Safety standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals, aligning with the vision of the client. Work closely with the Commercial Team to manage subcontractors, prepare financial forecasts, and maintain comprehensive H&S records. Lead weekly site progress meetings, ensuring tasks are completed on time and communication flows seamlessly between stakeholders. Qualifications & Skills This opportunity is perfect for you if: You hold a degree in Engineering or a related field, and are chartered or working towards chartership, along with relevant certifications (e.g., CITB Temporary Works, CSCS Appointed Person, IOSH/NEBOSH). You have a solid track record of managing civil works contracts. You demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with experience overseeing subcontractors and direct labour in a multi-trade environment.
