An exciting opportunity has arisen within NHS Tayside Catering Services. We are looking to appoint an individual who can demonstrate excellent day‑to‑day leadership and communication skills to manage Catering Services in the Angus locality and Royal Victoria Hospital, Dundee. A previous track record of successfully delivering a high standard of service provision and budgetary control within a catering environment is essential.
Responsibilities
* Plan, organise and develop patient catering services within our Angus units – including Arbroath Infirmary, Stracathro Hospital, Whitehills Health and Community Care Centre and Dundee‑based Royal Victoria Hospital.
* Lead and support the catering team, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and health and safety compliance.
* Deliver effective budgetary control and service improvement initiatives.
* Assist in implementing organisational change, workforce re‑design, project management and service planning.
* Achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and comply with the Code of Conduct throughout employment.
Hours of work are 37 hours per week.
