IS Power Platform and SharePoint Developer

Salary: £35,000 per annum, potential 6% bonus and 22.5 days annual leave plus bank holidays
Full time, 37.5 hours per week. Permanent. Location: Hybrid/Stockport. Requirement to attend Stockport office 3 days per week.
The IS Power Platform and SharePoint Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business applications using Microsoft Power Platform technologies.
Key Responsibilities
* The ongoing management and development of the SharePoint site portfolio, ensuring sites are secure, well structured, and aligned with business needs.
* Work with business teams to understand current processes, gather user requirements, and make recommendations.
* Collate, analyse, and prioritise demand for changes to existing Power Platform solutions and changes to the front end of SharePoint sites.
* Design, develop and support solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, Power Pages, Dataverse, and AI enabled functionality.
* Create, maintain, and support SharePoint Online (Microsoft 365) content in line with web design and usability best practices.
* Build, configure, and maintain SharePoint management and control solutions, including lists, workflows, document libraries, and the management of user access and permissions.
* Support end user adoption through the creation and delivery of training to enable users to own and maintain their content.
* Participate in meetings and technical working groups, providing expert consultation and advice.
* Keep up to date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and Microsoft platform developments.
Skills And Experience
* Experience with pro‑code Power Platform development using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, Power Pages, Dataverse, and AI (essential).
* Experience with SharePoint Online platform and capabilities including SharePoint Framework, SPFx, Site designs and scripting (JavaScript, JQuery) (essential).
* Knowledge of Microsoft 365, HTML, CSS, SQL and Balsamiq.
* Experience with data sources, connectors, APIs, and integrations.
* Excellent communication skills with an ability to communicate at all levels.
* Continuous improvement activity and contribute to improving ways of working.
