I am looking for HR Manager to join a professional services organisation in Manchester. This is a hands-on, operational role, suited to a true HR generalist who enjoys being involved in the day-to-day running of HR while also leading and developing a team.
You will play a key role in supporting the business across all areas of the employee lifecycle, providing practical and commercially focused HR support in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
The Role:
1. Act as a trusted HR partner to senior leaders and managers
2. Lead and manage the day-to-day HR function, remaining operational and hands-on
3. Manage and develop direct reports, providing guidance, coaching, and support
4. Oversee and lead employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinaries, performance management, and absence
5. Ensure HR policies, processes, and employment practices align with business needs and employment law
6. Support organisational change, workforce planning, and people initiatives
