Staff Nurse – Recovery & Post-Operative Care
Location: Cadogan Clinic, Sloane Street, Chelsea, London
Contract: Permanent, Full-time (40 hours per week)
Salary: Up to £37,000 DOE + £30/hr overtime + enhancements/on-call payments
Shifts: Variable shifts on a rota basis with on-call participation – no overnight shifts (complimentary taxi provided after 10pm finishes)

The Opportunity
We are looking for a highly motivated Recovery & Post-Operative Care Nurse to join our high-performing clinical team, working across three state-of-the-art theatres and our nurse-led dressings clinic.
In this role, you'll be at the heart of the patient journey — supporting safe recovery immediately after surgery, monitoring and managing post-operative needs, and delivering expert wound care in clinic. You'll work closely with our consultants, anaesthetists, and surgical teams to ensure continuity of care, smooth day-case surgery pathways, and best-in-class outcomes.

What You'll Bring
Essential
* NMC-registered Nurse with eligibility to practise in the UK
* 1+ year of experience in a pre-/post-operative surgical ward
* 1+ year of experience working in a Recovery or PACU setting
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Excellent clinical judgement and attention to detail
* Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
Desirable
* Experience in wound care and post-surgical dressings
* Previous work in the private healthcare sector
* Phlebotomy skills
* IT literacy, including use of electronic clinical records
* Ability to manage and prioritise a constantly evolving workload
