Job Opportunity: HR Manager (12-month FTC)
An exciting opportunity for a stand-alone HR Manager on a 12-month FTC, reporting to the Commercial Director. You will support the Directors and SMT by taking full ownership of Human Resources as an HR Generalist, making a real difference and contributing to the long-term success of a growing business.

* Location: Office-based with some travel to Market Harborough.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Manage employee casework including disputes, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, retirement, and redundancy.
* Apply HR and business knowledge for decision-making.
* Support departments on employment terms and share best practices.
* Develop HR policies to enhance performance and reduce disputes.
* Advise on policies and benefits for employees.
* Collaborate with payroll on employee changes.
* Work with Senior Management on pay and reward strategies.
* Support recruitment: writing job descriptions, interview questions, and onboarding processes.
* Manage talent and succession planning.
* Align HR strategy with business goals.
* Review and update HR policies and processes.
* Participate in projects to align workforce with strategic goals.
* Maintain accurate HR records for reporting and audits.
* Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
* Act as primary contact for key stakeholders.
* Support management with absence requests and HR system updates.
* Track and organize Length of Service awards.
Skills and Experience:
* Extensive experience as a stand-alone HR Manager, preferably in logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
* Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Strong knowledge of employment law.
* Self-confident, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
* Ability to develop initiatives that boost employee morale.
