Job Title: Site Manager - Northeast\n\nLocation: Northeast (Newcastle, Sunderland, Middlesborough)\n\nSalary: Competitive according to experience\n\nJob Type: Full Time, Permanent\n\nAbout Us:\n\nExcalon is a privately-owned company established in 2002. With recent new business wins with multiple major clients adding to our existing portfolio of framework agreements and ongoing Major Projects, this is a particularly exciting time to join our business.\n\nAbout the role:\n\nWe are seeking an experienced Site Manager to work on major infrastructure projects within the Northeast region. Reporting to the Operations Manager you will manage operational teams to deliver high quality projects, on time, and within budget.\n\nDuties and Responsibilities:\n\nLiaise with the client, sub-contractors and other trades.
Co-ordinate all aspects of the works so that the project is completed in line with client requirements, within budget and on time.\nIssue Work Instructions and Risk Assessments associated with the works\nPlan, co-ordinate and manage resources required to complete works\nRegular monitoring of the delivery programme and progress reporting to the Project Manager\nEnsure suitable levels of supervision of all sub-contractors\nManage and co-ordinate the requirement for any Client specific safety documentation (e.g. Permit to Dig, Break / No break Zones, CDM documentation)\nEnsure installation complies with relevant For Construction Drawings and Cross sections\nEnsure site audits and reports are completed on time\nEnsure weekly track sheets and diaries are completed and submitted on time.\nDelivery of Toolbox Talks\nEnsure the safety of self and others whilst working\nWork well as part of a wider teamAbout you:\n\nExisting experience as a site manager\nCPCS and CSCS Cards\nSMSTS\nNRSWA Street works Supervisor\nConfined Spaces\nDeep Excavation / Temporary Works Supervisor\nEmergency First AidYou will be based on site in the Northeast and may be required to travel to alternative sites to meet the needs of the business.\n\nBenefits:\n\nAnnual performance related bonus scheme\nVehicle and Fuel\nRoyal London Group Personal Pension Plan\nGroup Life Insurance 1 x Salary\nOccupational Health Service\nAnnual Health Surveillance\nEmployee Assistance Programme\nFunded qualifications & TrainingWorking for us:\n\nWe do not operate a banded salary scale and therefore offer genuinely competitive rates according to skills and experience.
