We are currently recruiting for an Account Manager to join an organization based in Hartlepool.
Responsibilities:
1. Identify and prospect new business opportunities using telesales, LinkedIn outreach, and email approaches.
2. Develop and manage a sales pipeline to ensure consistent lead generation and conversion.
3. Utilize various platforms and tools to uncover potential clients.
4. Engage in meaningful conversations with decision-makers to offer solutions and pricing, and convert to customers.
5. Build and manage a client base by providing ongoing support, ensuring high satisfaction levels, and identifying opportunities for cross-selling.
6. Maximize margins through effective pricing and negotiation, balancing competitiveness with profitability.
7. Act as the point of contact for customers, resolving issues or concerns promptly.
8. Liaise with Credit and Transport teams to ensure timely processing and delivery of orders.
9. Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with customers through regular check-ins and reviews.
Experience:
1. Proven track record in B2B sales and account management, with a focus on prospecting, converting, and managing a portfolio of commercial accounts.
2. Experience in sales, telesales, LinkedIn outreach, or email-based communication.
3. Ability to meet or exceed targets in a competitive, fast-paced environment.
4. Skilled in managing a sales pipeline and driving lead generation, conversion, and account growth.
5. Effective engagement with decision-makers at all levels and strong negotiation skills to balance competitiveness with profitability.
6. Strong ability to build and maintain long-lasting customer relationships.
