Ite Manager – Internals (Freelance) Location: Lancaster Project Value: £15 million Duration: 6 to 8 months Start Date: ASAP Day Rate: Competitive We Are Footprint are recruiting for a skilled and reliable Site Manager to manage internal works on a £15 million accommodation project in Lancaster, working with one of our key clients. This is a freelance role expected to last 6 to 8 months, with the potential for further work upon successful delivery. About the Role The successful candidate will take full responsibility for managing the internal phases of the project, ensuring that all subcontractors are closely coordinated, work is completed on time, and high-quality finishes are consistently achieved across all areas. A key focus will be on delivering defect-free results and maintaining excellent standards throughout the build. Key Responsibilities: * Manage and drive internal fit-out works across multiple units * Supervise and coordinate subcontractors’ performance and output * Ensure all works are completed to a high standard, with a strong emphasis on quality control and finish * Maintain health & safety standards and ensure compliance on site * Monitor progress and report to the Project Manager as required * Proactively identify and resolve issues to avoid delays and defects Requirements: * SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) * First Aid certification * CSCS card (Manager level preferred) * Proven experience managing internals on multi-unit accommodation or similar large-scale projects * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality * Excellent communication and leadership skills If you are a dependable Site Manager looking for your next opportunity, please get in touch today to discuss the role
