Sales Executive – Food & Beverage Flavour Solutions

Location: Stoke on Trent
Role Type: Office-Based | Full-Time

About the Role

We are seeking a Sales Executive to join our experienced Commercial team. In this position you will be expected to drive the sales growth agenda within the current customer base as well as winning new customers. It is an office-based position, working with an experienced team who will give this role the support it needs to be successful.

The customer base has long-standing and loyal customers. With support and regular contact, building relationships and understanding their business, this will deliver growth for their business and ours. The right candidate will manage those customers from the office as well as being the first port of call for new customer enquiries.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage a dedicated portfolio of customers, achieving profitability and growth targets

* Build strong customer relationships and gain deep understanding of their business needs

* Reactivate lapsed accounts and target new customers to win additional sales

* Monitor customer order patterns and product mix to exceed monthly budgets

* Provide accurate weekly sales forecasts and proactive plans

* Act as the first point of contact for new business enquiries

* Support the wider sales team where needed

* Provide occasional customer service cover, including order input and query management

Candidate Requirements

* You will have at least 2 years’ experience in a telesales, sales, or administrative position

* Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

* Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

* Experience in FMCG food & drink is highly advantageous

* Creative, entrepreneurial mindset

* Excellent time-management skills and a positive, enthusiastic attitude

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office

* Full Right to Work in the UK

* Full clean driving licence
