Cook (Part Time 25 Hours Per Week Including Weekends) — Temporary
Responsibilities
* Prepare delicious meals according to the menu and deliver well-prepared meals in a timely manner.
* Follow instructions in cooking; move around the kitchen deftly and multi-task effectively.
* Collaborate with the Chef and Cooks to prepare meals; monitor portion size and waste; maintain pantry stock records; restock pantry and fridge/freezer as necessary.
* Produce specials and assist with home baking as applicable.
Qualifications / Skills
* Experience of working in a busy kitchen.
* Creative at making dishes but able to work to specs.
* Experience of cooking carvery is an advantage.
* Knowledge of HACCP.
* Able to manage multiple orders; remain calm under pressure.
* Good time management.
* Level 2 basic food hygiene is an advantage.
* Professionalism and reliability.

Duties include
* The taking of deliveries.
* Food preparation.
* Producing specials.
* Prepare, cook, and present food quickly and efficiently to a high standard.
* Monitor portion size and waste.
* Collaborating with the Chef and Cooks to prepare meals.
* Maintaining a pantry stock record.
* Restocking the pantry and fridge or freezer as necessary.
