Overview
Matchtech are seeking an experienced Site Manager for a shaft sinking and tunnel drive project in Stourport. This is a key role on a specialist civils scheme with a strong emphasis on safe delivery and effective site coordination.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage daily site operations on a shaft sinking/tunnel drive project
* Coordinate subcontractors, labour and plant
* Maintain high safety standards and site documentation
* Support (where required) elements of M&E installation
* Work closely with project teams and client representatives
* Ensure efficient progress and quality across all works
* Liaise with Brian Thomas as the initial point of contact for the project
Requirements
* Proven background in water or civils projects
* Experience in tunnelling or shaft sinking preferred (but not essential)
* SMSTS certification
* Strong leadership and site coordination skills
* M&E installation experience beneficial but not mandatory
