Overview
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an ambitious marketing team, playing a key role in drafting and coordinating tenders and proposals to support business development. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with our internal teams & external stakeholders, providing support across both marketing and business development activities.
The role is primarily a bids role, with wider marketing exposure, including, but not limited to:
* Tracking tender portals and coordinating tenders & proposals from initiation to completion, including completing eligibility, drafting submissions, managing clarifications, coordinating the tendering team, and submitting compliant responses within tight deadlines
* Responding to compliance questionnaires, due diligence and supplier onboarding
* Conducting tender admin, including reviewing feedback and supporting continuous improvement
* Development of marketing collateral, presentations and other documents in line with company branding
* Preparing marketing and business development literature, including legal directories
* Assisting with the firm’s responsible business activities, including development of responsible business literature
* Contributing to the delivery of marketing and business development plans
* Working closely with the company, departments and practice groups in the delivery of marketing and business development objectives and initiatives
* Planning, promotion and execution of events
* Preparing documentation for business development meetings and contributing to firm-wide committees
* Contributing to wider marketing projects as required
* Providing additional administrative support as required
Qualifications
* Previous experience leading end-to-end tender and bid processes, including bid writing and familiarity with tender portals
* Strong writing, editing, proofreading and verbal communication skills
* Strong analytical ability, producing tender responses in line with specific criteria
* Demonstrate excellent project management skills
* IT literate, with experience using Microsoft Office Suite
* Ability to work on own initiative and as a member of a team
* Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and multitask
* Strong attention to detail
* Positive and adaptable approach
* Previous experience of working in a legal or professional services environment would be advantageous
* Previous experience working in a marketing or communications role
* Educated to degree level in marketing, communications, business or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
Salary: Commensurate with experience.
Position: 12-month fixed term contract, Full-time, Monday-Friday
