 
        
        Construction Site Manager – 22-Week Retail Project
Duration: 22 Weeks
Our client, is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a 22-week retail unit project. The scheme involves a full internal fit-out and associated groundworks, requiring someone with proven experience in delivering similar retail developments on time and to a high standard.
You’ll take ownership of the site day-to-day, managing subcontractors, ensuring health & safety compliance, and maintaining smooth communication between the client, head office, and on-site teams.
Key Responsibilities
 * Oversee all site operations, ensuring the project runs safely, on schedule, and within budget.
 * Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff.
 * Conduct regular progress meetings and report to the Contracts Manager.
 * Ensure all site documentation and H&S records are up to date.
 * Coordinate site logistics, deliveries, and workforce planning.
 * Maintain strong relationships with the client and project stakeholders.
Requirements
 * Proven experience as a Site Manager on retail fit-out and/or new build projects.
 * Strong understanding of groundworks, civils, and internal fit-out.
 * Valid SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and First Aid certificates.
 * Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
 * Ability to manage fast-paced programmes and meet tight deadlines.
