FitKit UK Ltd are one of the largest gym equipment installations company in the UK, carrying out installs on behalf of the leading gym equipment manufacturers. Our teams install equipment throughout the UK in the Leisure, Education and Home Sectors. Due to continued growth we are looking to hire additional manpower to help with installs.
The role involves delivering and installing fitness equipment throughout the UK, in a variety of teams from 2 man delivery teams to full week installs with up to 10 team members working together to deliver large install projects.
The ideal candidates need to be willing to work away from home when needed and be able to get to the warehouse meeting point. You will need to be reasonably fit, able to lift heavy equipment and committed to working safely at all times.
The role will suit someone who is willing to get stuck in, with a can do attitude and a good team player who is willing to work hard.
Due to the nature of the job, installing gym equipment throughout the UK, you will need to be prepared to stay away on average 2 nights a week throughout the year. There are no set finish times and as such the role is unsuitable for anyone who needs to finish at a a set time. Each hour over the contracted 45hrs is paid at your normal hourly rate on weekdays.
Early starts each day, between 5-6am to ensure you are on site for 8am, meeting point is NN6 6JU
An interest in gyms / fitness equipment or experience in the fitness industry is ideal but not essential.
Salary £29500 per annum.
Salary (Enhancements): Saturdays, Sundays, Bank Holidays and nights away from home & pension scheme.
