We have an exciting opportunity for 2 Assistant Human Resources Officers to join our HR Operations Team.

The roles will be aligned to a directorate within the Council and will support the Resourcing and HR Business Partnering team requirements.

About the Candidate

We are looking for dynamic and committed individuals who are excellent team players. The role requires the ability to work as part of a wider team as well as having the ability to work independently when required, using initiative, being able to respond positively to changing work requirements, and an ability to work flexibly.

You will be highly organised and methodical, with strong attention to detail. You will have excellent IT and system skills with experience of maintaining, manipulating and inputting data.

Above all, you'll be passionate about delivering an excellent HR service and delivering fantastic things for our employees and residents.

The closing date for applications is Monday 22nd June 2026.

Interviews are scheduled to take place week commencing 29th June 2026.

We welcome applications from all suitably qualified candidates. For this vacancy, candidates must have an existing right to work in the UK before commencing employment. Skilled Worker visa sponsorship is not available for this post. Eligibility to work in the UK will be verified in the final stages of the selection process.
