We are currently looking for a Quality Manager who will be responsible for ensuring that all infrastructure projects, assets, and operational activities meet defined quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. This role plays a key part in driving continuous improvement, enhancing operational efficiency, and maintaining compliance across all phases of project delivery and service operations within the defence sector. Hybrid working, 3 days client site and SC Clearance must be already held or eligible (Sole UK Nationals only due to the nature of the work). Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems and processes across infrastructure projects and operational activities Ensure compliance with defence industry standards, regulations, and internal policies Lead quality assurance and quality control activities throughout project lifecycles Conduct audits, inspections, and reviews to identify risks, non-conformities, and improvement opportunities Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, and stakeholders to embed quality standards from design through to delivery Monitor and report on quality performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction Manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) processes Support supplier and contractor quality assessments and performance reviews, particularly within defence supply chains Provide training and guidance to teams on quality standards, tools, and best practices Key Skills & Experience Proven experience in a Quality Manager or similar role within infrastructure, engineering, or construction environments Ideally experience working within the defence sector Strong understanding of defence quality standards and regulatory frameworks Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001) Experience with auditing, compliance, and regulatory frameworks Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities Ability to influence and drive a culture of quality across teams Experience managing quality across complex, multi-disciplinary projects Qualifications Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field Relevant professional certifications (e.g. ISO Lead Auditor) are desirable
