Graduate Mechanical & Electrical Coordinator Location: Various construction sites across the UK & ROI Contract: Full-time Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience The Role Our client is seeking a Graduate Mechanical & Electrical Coordinator to join their projects team, assisting with all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities. The role involves supporting the Project MEP Coordinator and Technical Director, helping manage consultants, sub-contractors, and technical deliverables to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and in line with contractual requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or early-career engineer to gain hands-on experience in MEP coordination across high-value construction projects, with exposure to technical, commercial, and client-facing elements. Key Responsibilities Support the coordination of MEP consultants, designers, and subcontractors Prepare and monitor MEP design programmes and technical submission schedules Ensure design information is clear, complete, compliant, and fully coordinated Manage MEP RFIs, sample approvals, DARs, and technical queries Chair technical meetings and report MEP progress to construction and contracts teams Provide technical and commercial support, including VE assessments, variations, and final accounts Assist in compiling project handover documentation, O&M manuals, and building user guides Attend client meetings and support commissioning, validation, and handover processes Maintain records, compliance, and quality in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards Contribute to staff development, continuous improvement, and best practice sharing What Were Looking For Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or a relevant subject) Sound understanding of the construction process and ability to work to tight deadlines Ability to prepare, produce, and present reports Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills Ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors Good IT skills (Microsoft Suite, Gateway, and SHE systems) Full UK driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK and ROI DBS clearance and flexibility to work away from home as required Desirable : CIOB accreditation Previous experience within building/construction industry Ability to read architectural drawings and knowledge of building regulations Whats on Offer Competitive salary, dependent on experience Hands-on experience coordinating MEP on prestigious construction projects Structured career development and CPD opportunities Exposure to large-scale, technically complex projects across the UK & ROI Apply now to join a growing team delivering high-quality, technically challenging construction projects.
