Learning Mentor
Do you have the patience and kindness to support children on their journey through education? If you can bring a calm, consistent and supportive approach to everyday learning then this could be the ideal role for you.
As a learning mentor you will be able to build trusting relationships and create consistency that allows pupils to engage with learning.
What you’ll do
* Support pupils on a 1:1 basis or within small groups
* Create and deliver tailored strategies to help children engage and thrive
* Support pupils to manage behaviour and build confidence
* Monitor and track progress
* Collaborate and communicate with pupils, staff and parents
What we’re looking for
* Experience of working with children with SEN
* Patience, adaptability, and a passion for helping children succeed
* Confident behaviour management skills
* Strong communication skills and resilience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
