We are seeking an experienced Service Operations Manager to lead and enhance our Service Support function during a period of maternity cover for a minimum of 18 months. This is a key operational leadership role focused on improving service processes, driving performance standards, managing budgets and ensuring customers consistently receive a first-class service experience. What You'll Do: Lead and manage the Service Co-ordinator team, ensuring systems are accurately maintained and up to date Manage and develop the Service Parts Controller function, establishing KPIs and analysing data to drive cost savings Full ownership of service and parts budgets, including stock and breakdown control Oversee stock management processes, controls, and inventory tracking Drive continuous improvement across all customer service systems and procedures Analyse service data and prepare detailed performance reports Establish, monitor and report on KPIs and performance standards Manage warranty claims and supplier liaison to control costs and meet budget targets Support allocation of jobs to engineers to ensure optimal utilisation Lead the integration of new service operations into existing processes Maintain compliance records including ISO standards, training, and calibration documentation Manage service agreements to ensure departmental and customer success Lead customer satisfaction initiatives, surveys and feedback analysis Drive new initiatives and projects that enhance service delivery and operational efficiency Promote a customer-centric culture across the business What You'll Need: 2 years management experience Proven track record in driving process improvement and operational efficiency Strong analytical skills with experience producing reports and interpreting data Experience managing budgets and delivering cost savings Experience working with both internal and external stakeholders to improve service delivery Comfortable working in an evolving environment and leading change Able to balance strategic oversight with a hands-on operational approach What You'll Get: Competitive salary 18-month fixed term contract Opportunity to lead operational improvement initiatives Supportive and collaborative working environment
