Our client is an expanding London-based Developer/Contractor building their own High-end Residential New Build (RC Frame) apartments across London ranging for 80-200 Units. They are in a period of growth and stepping up the scale of project to circa 200+ units builds and are looking to bring in the relevant skills and experience to the business.As a Site Manager you will ensure the projects arepleted safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves leading and mentoring site assistants while coordinating with key stakeholders and establishing relevant standards and processes.You will:
1. Oversee daily operations, ensuring consistent quality and performance. Coordinate the work of site assistants.
2. Manage on-site teams, including subcontractors and site assistants, keeping work in line with the program.
3. Enforce health and safety regulations on site and maintainpliance records.
4. Assist and support site budgets, approve material orders, and manage inventory to control costs, ensuring efficient use of resources.
5. Conduct regular quality checks on all sites, ensuring that all work meets project specifications and building standards. Quickly address any issues to maintain high quality construction.
6. Familiar with Procore, Microsoft Project for project tracking and documentation
7. Prepare and present regular project progress reports.
You will have:
8. Ideally a degree or equivalent and must have SMSTS, First Aid
9. Strong ability to read and interpret Architectural, Structural, (Mechanical, and Electrical drawings).
10. Proficiency in construction management software (, Procore, PlanGrid, BIM, Microsoft Office), with the ability to read drawings and basic AutoCAD skills.
11. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and ideally BREAM.
