The Power Platform Developer is a hands-on technical role within the Transformation team, responsible for building, maintaining, and enhancing the platforms that support Equilibrium’s operations. Working closely with the Systems Lead, they’ll develop and evolve solutions across Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Equate) and the wider Power Platform, ensuring systems remain reliable, scalable, and aligned with business needs. Combining Power Automate development, D365 configuration, integrations, and bespoke web tools, they’ll improve data integrity, streamline workflows, and deliver practical solutions that enhance how our teams operate. To achieve this, our Power Platform Developer will: Configure, customise, and enhance Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Equate), ensuring it supports evolving business processes and remains a reliable source of truth across the organisation. Design and build automations using Power Automate to reduce manual effort, eliminate repetitive tasks, and improve operational efficiency. Develop and extend solutions using Power Platform tools, including Power Apps where appropriate, to enhance system capability. Build and maintain integrations between Equate and other business systems, including marketing platforms, the MoneyInfo client portal, and third-party tools, ensuring data flows accurately and consistently. Diagnose and resolve system and integration issues, proactively monitoring performance and addressing root causes to improve long-term stability. Design and build bespoke web-based tools, dashboards, calculators, and reporting resources that extend the capability of core platforms and provide practical value to teams. Contribute to sprint-based delivery cycles, participating in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives, while taking ownership of assigned work and flagging blockers early. Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical specifications, and document solutions clearly and effectively. Create and maintain system documentation and knowledge base articles, supporting knowledge sharing and adoption across the business. Support acquisition integrations by assisting with data migration, system consolidation, and platform alignment for newly acquired businesses. Experience Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (configuration and customisation). Strong experience with Power Platform tools, particularly Power Automate (and Power Apps where relevant). Experience building and maintaining system integrations. Strong understanding of data structures, system logic, and workflow design. Ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions. Experience working within a sprint or agile delivery model is desirable.
