Job Summary
The Human Resources Administrator plays a vital role in supporting the HR department and ensuring the smooth operation of HR functions. This position involves managing various administrative tasks, maintaining employee records, and assisting with recruitment processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a solid understanding of human resources and administration practices.
Duties
* Maintain and update employee records in Work Nest.
* Assist in the recruitment process by coordinating job postings and managing applicants.
* Conduct data entry tasks accurately to ensure all employee information is up-to-date.
* Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing documentation and conducting orientation sessions.
* Provide administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling meetings and maintaining files.
* Respond to employee enquiries regarding HR policies and procedures with professionalism.
* Collaborate with other departments to facilitate effective communication and support organisational goals.
* Handling incoming emails and answering phone calls professionally
* Organising paperwork and implementing a structured filing system
* Creating and sending invoices and quotes to clients using templates provided
* Coordinating staff holidays, absences, and sick days
* Managing tools and equipment inventories, including maintenance schedules
* Communicating with wholesalers and suppliers
* Supporting the creation of risk assessments and method statements
Skills
* Comfortable using Microsoft Office, email, and basic digital tools
* An interest in Social media and content creation (TikTok) a bonus
* A proactive attitude and a willingness to get stuck in.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
* Excellent data entry skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Familiarity with recruitment based platforms.
* Previous administrative experience within a human resources environment is highly desirable.
* Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
