We are recruiting an HR Manager for a well-established manufacturing company with a loyal workforce. The team operates like a family, and the role is very generalist, covering recruitment, training, onboarding, absence management, and employee relations.
The key responsibility will be managing payroll by collecting data from managers, using their bespoke system to check for anomalies, and ensuring timely payments. Proficiency in Excel is essential. You will work with a highly competent HR administrator who ensures accuracy.
If you enjoy training and development, there is an opportunity to lead projects in this area, including e-learning initiatives. Updating policies, procedures, and transitioning from SAP to a new system will also be part of your role.
You will report on KPIs and analyze factory operations, requiring a curious and analytical mindset. The ideal candidate is people-focused, with strong analytical skills and a commercial outlook. Your goal is to develop the management team and maximize employee potential.
The salary is circa £50k-£55k, complemented by company benefits including an enhanced pension scheme.
