Quality Manager (Contract)

Our client, a growing specialist engineering and manufacturing business supporting multiple industries including automotive, is seeking a Quality Manager to join their team.
Quality Manager Roles and Responsibilities:
* Ensure products consistently meet customer specifications and ISO 90001 standards
* Maintain company procedures and processes in compliance with ISO standards
* Lead the reassessment and implementation of new quality standards
* Liaise with customers and suppliers on quality-related matters
Quality Manager Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified time-served engineer or HNC in a relevant discipline
* Strong working knowledge of ISO standards and quality improvement methodologies
* Solid understanding of mechanical disciplines and procedures
* Commercially aware, able to operate within the financial constraints of the business
* Experience with machining castings and powder coating is desirable
* Proficient in modern problem-solving and analytical techniques
* Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with all levels of the business and representing the company externally
* Flexible, hands-on approach with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving
* Strong team player with the ability to positively influence across the organization
* Computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Quality Manager Working Hours:
* 39 hours - flexible
