We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our culinary team. Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
* Assist in meal preparation, ensuring that all ingredients are fresh and of high quality.
* Ensuring Dietary requirements are met
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during service hours.
* Monitor food stock levels and assist in inventory management.
* Serve meals to residents, ensuring presentation meets the restaurant's standards.
* Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.
Skills
* Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment.
* Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
* Previous Care Home experience is highly desirable, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in meal presentation.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative when required.
* A passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes consistently.
