The Microsoft Fabric Solution Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing Microsoft Fabric architectures for enterprise clients. This role requires a minimum of 7 years of experience in data architecture and engineering, with a strong focus on SQL and Microsoft Fabric. A university degree is required, and a BSc/MSc in Computer Science or Data Engineering is preferred. This individual will play a pivotal role in guiding enterprise clients through their data platform modernisation journey, leveraging Microsoft Fabric’s capabilities to enable data democratisation, advanced analytics, and AI-driven insights. Technical Expertise • Extensive experience with Microsoft Fabric core features • Proficiency in cloud ecosystems (Specifically Azure, optionally AWS and GCP are an advantage) and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform). • Strong background in databases, data warehouses, and distributed processing frameworks. • Familiarity with BI and data exploration tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Talend). • Experience with data security, governance, and compliance frameworks. • Expertise in large-scale ETL/ELT pipeline implementation using custom and packaged tools. Experience, Qualifications, and Education • Experience: Minimum 7–10 years in data architecture, engineering, or consulting roles, with 1-2 years in Microsoft Fabric solution architecture. • Education: University degree required. • Preferred: BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field; Microsoft Fabric certification(s) strongly desirable.
