As HR Manager, you’ll provide hands-on HR support to our Head Office team, in Crick Northamptonshire, ensuring our people strategy aligns with business goals and complies with employment legislation. You’ll champion best-in-class people practices, nurture a positive and inclusive workplace culture, and partner with leadership to drive talent development and organizational success. This is a hybrid role which will include 3 days in the office per week.

Key Responsibilities:
Employee Relations
1. Act as the first point of contact for HR queries within Head Office.
2. Manage employee relations cases, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
3. Work with business team to ensure the correct structures are in place to deliver business goals
4. Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and manage end-to-end recruitment.
5. Oversee onboarding processes to ensure smooth integration of new employees
Performance Management
6. Support managers in implementing performance appraisal processes, ensuring meaningful conversation that enable employees and the business to grow.
7. Provide coaching and guidance on performance improvement plans.
Engagement & Culture
8. Establish Head Office as best in class for our Engagement agenda across the business.
9. Lead initiatives that strengthen inclusion, collaboration, and recognition.
10. Actively listen to employee feedback and translate insights into actionable improvements.
11. Drive engagement initiatives to promote a positive and inclusive culture.
Policy & Compliance
12. Update and develop policies in line with changes in Employment Law.
13. Ensure HR policies are up-to-date and communicated effectively.
14. Maintain compliance with employment law and company standards.
Learning & Development
15. Identify training needs and coordinate development programs for Head Office staff.
16. Support succession planning and career development initiatives.
HR Administration & Reporting
17. Maintain accurate HR records and prepare regular reports for senior leadership.
18. Utilize HR systems to streamline processes and improve data accuracy.
Skills & Qualifications
19. CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience.
20. Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
21. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
22. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
23. Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
24. Have demonstrable success in a similar Management role
25. Excellent communication and presentation skills – able to build relationships quickly, engage and influence key stakeholders
