Assists with administratingdaytoday operations of the people functions and duties. You willstart with a remote working arrangement before transitioning to ahybrid model centered around a potential office in Reading. Thispermanent position offers a competitive salary range of GBP20000.00GBP24000.00 and flexible hours and a 5day workweek.
Required:
* Relevantcourses or Diploma/Degree in Human Resources
* 3years of general Human Resource experience (including some payrolladministration)
* HR legislation relating to theUK
KeyResponsibilities:
* Assistwith the preparation and processing of the monthly payroll of UKemployees on the payroll system (This includes the entire cycle ofthe payroll process).
* Advising on UKlegislation surrounding all aspects ofpayroll.
* Review and ensure the accuracy ofapproved travel and overtime claims for UKemployees.
* Responsible for the coordinationbetween the UK payroll and Central People Operations to ensureproper flow and maintenance of employeedata.
* Handle the administration of the Payrollsystem for UK employees (adding new employees and terminations toPayroll).
* Maintain UK employeerecords.
* Generate reports for payments e.g.PAYE returns and other third parties.
* Maintaina proper document control system.
* Keep abreastwith company policies and tax legislation that impactremuneration.
Assisting the GlobalChief Strategy and People Officer youwill:
* Prepare monthend reporting forpayroll for UK employees (timeous and accurate reportingsubmitted).
* Formulation curation and publishingof global people policies.
* Consolidation ofglobal people reports anddashboards.
* Responsible for people datamanagement relating to systems data accuracy including talentmanagement system AD and distributionlists.
* Provide general people administrationsupport.
What you willneed:
* Relevant coursesor Diploma/Degree in Human Resources
* 5 years ofgeneral Human Resource experience (including payrollprocessing)

Payroll andBenefitsManagement
* Conform toRTI regulations in terms of online submittal of FPS andEPS
* Inputting all bonuses leave advances etcinto Payroll
* Balancing Medical Aid andProvident Fund Contributions before Payroll isrun
* Ensure that benefits documentation iscompleted correctly
* Organize and maintain allpersonnel records and filing
* Run GL to ensurefigures are available to meet monthly accountsdeadline
* Complete the Department EmployeeStatus schedule to facilitate reporting of monthly financialaccounts
* Effective and timeous resolution ofinquiries and refer if necessary
* Monthlyrecordkeeping of payroll information andreports
* Successful statuary returnsachieved
* Complete the Gross salariesspreadsheet and recon schedule for yearend and auditpurposes
* Liaise with Auditors to provide allpayroll/salary information required to conduct annualaudits
* Conduct Tax Year Endreconciliations
* Keep an ongoing record of staffmovement
* Capture annual salary increases intoSalaries Excel spreadsheet payroll and Provident Fund Schedules inApril eachyear
Reporting
* Assistingthe Global Chief Strategy and People Officer to prepare monthlyreports in line with Audit requirements (i.e. leave reportsincentives overtime paid etc)
* Create regularreports and presentations on Peoplemetrics
* Generate Workmans Compensation andEmployment Equity reports to be sentannually
PeopleAdministration andSupport
* Update internaldatabases (e.g. record sick or maternityleave)
* Consolidation of global people reportsand dashboards
* Formulation curation andpublishing of global people policies
* Createregular reports and presentations on HR metrics (e.g. turnoverrates)
* Responsible for people data managementrelating to systems data accuracy including talent managementsystem AD and distribution lists
* Assist andsupport People team members with adhoc filing administration tasksand projects.
* Assist with all employee queries(i.e. employment or peoplerelatedissues).
