Role Description
Are you a natural salesperson with a passion for building strong relationships and delivering top-notch service? Are you looking to join a supportive team with real opportunities to grow?
We’re looking for a proactive and driven Sales Executive to join our friendly and high-performing team at Hevey Building Supplies in Northampton. You’ll play a key role in managing customer enquiries, creating quotes, processing orders, and actively developing new business in the local area.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a successful, fast-paced branch where no two days are the same—and where there’s genuine room for career progression within a growing company.
Responsibilities:
* Handling enquiries via phone, email, and over the counter
* Preparing accurate quotes and processing customer orders
* Building strong relationships with trade and retail customers
* Identifying new business opportunities and growing your customer base
* Working closely with the branch team to hit sales targets and deliver great service

Competitive Salary Offered
Hours: 7am-5pm Mon-Fri, 7.30am-12.30pm alternate Saturdays
Holiday: 21 days per year plus Bank Holidays
Benefits: Discretionary bonus scheme
Requirements:
* At least 2 years’ experience in sales within the builders’ merchant or building materials sector
* Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
* A positive, team-first attitude and the drive to succeed
* An established local customer base would be a strong advantage
